“Softball has always been my entire world. When I tore my shoulder and learned I needed surgery, I was terrified—not just of the pain or the rehab, but of losing the sport that felt like my whole identity. My athletic trainer at school recommended Davis Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, and looking back, it was the best thing that could have happened during the hardest time of my life.
Walking into Davis PTSR after surgery, I was scared I’d never be the same athlete again. But from day one, my physical therapist didn’t treat me like a patient—they treated me like an athlete in training. PT became my new version of practice. My therapist became my coach. Every session had a purpose, every drill felt like part of a game plan, and every milestone reminded me that I could come back.
There were days when the mental side of recovery felt even heavier than the physical, but the team at Davis always believed in me, even when I struggled to believe in myself. They pushed me, encouraged me, and reminded me that my identity was bigger and stronger than one injury.
Because of them, I not only recovered—I came back better. Today I’m playing softball at the college level, and I’m so grateful for every step of the journey that got me here. Davis PTSR didn’t just help me heal—they helped me find myself again.”
