Max Nowell is a newly graduated Physical Therapist who recently completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at St. Joseph’s University. Max has gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of patients, including student athletes recovering from injuries, individuals recuperating from orthopedic surgeries, and elderly patients in need of specialized care. His clinical experiences have equipped him with the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment like Davis PTSR.

Max’s interest in physical therapy developed during his many years as a swimmer from the age of 8 through high school. His passion for sports and fitness has continued post-college as he is a recreational powerlifter. Max was a board member of Saint Joseph’s University’s Barbell Club, where he helped organize powerlifting meets in the school gym. Additionally, during his training, he focused on the treatment of marathon runners, college-level baseball players, and a variety of different types of high school athletes.

Max is dedicated to patient education, and his ability to connect one-on-one with patients will make him a great fit at Team Davis. It is important to Max to educate patients about their diagnosis and the reasons for choosing particular exercises in a way that they can understand, making their relationship stronger and improving their ability to complete home exercise programs with more confidence. We are excited to welcome Max to Team Davis and look forward to the contributions he will make in providing exceptional care to our patients.
