Sports Performance Psychology

Success in athletics is not just about strength, speed, or skill. It is also about mindset. Many athletes discover that the difference between a good performance and a great one often comes down to focus, confidence, and resilience.

At Davis Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, we understand how powerful the mind can be in athletic performance. That is why we offer guidance in sports performance psychology, helping athletes build the mental skills needed to compete, improve, and thrive.

Working alongside our team is Jeremy Rahn, M.Ed., Mental Performance Coach, who helps athletes train their mindset the same way they train their body.

What Is Sports Performance Psychology?

Sports performance psychology focuses on training the mental skills athletes need to perform at their best. It combines mental performance training techniques such as focus, confidence building, and pressure management to improve athletic performance.

At Davis Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, these skills are integrated into performance and recovery programs to help athletes stay mentally prepared for competition, rehabilitation, and long-term development.
